The main research interests of our Lab are Computational Intelligence. Computational intelligence consists of the technologies learned from living things, such as Neural Networks imitating the brain, Fuzzy Systems imitating human’s subjective information processing method and Genetic Algorithm imitating the evolution mechanism of living things. Our researches mainly focus on how to apply those technologies to various applications, such as bioinformatics, system identification and control, image processing, financial analysis, data mining and so on. Based on the information extracted automatically from application domains, we are trying to develop some application specific new efficient computational intelligent technologies, for examples, Self-organizing function localization neural networks, Quasi-ARX neural networks, Modular network of support vector machines.
